Wana Brands up for three Weedy Awards

—Company’s attention to quality and social responsibility recognized again— 

Los Angeles (Feb. 25, 2020)Wana Brands joins a roster of top-tier cannabis businesses as a finalist in three categories in WeedWeek’s 2020 Weedy Awards, to be presented in Los Angeles on Friday, Feb. 28.

The finalists were chosen by the readers of WeedWeek, home of the cannabis industry’s best newsletters and podcasts. From among the finalists, a panel of distinguished, influential judges will pick the winners during an event at The London, a five-star hotel and venue in West Hollywood.

Wana is recognized in three of the 10 categories: Socially Responsible Company, Environmentally Responsible Company, and Edibles. As it happens, those categories represent the very endeavors of which Wana is most proud.

The other finalists in the Socially Responsible category are Eaze, a well-known cannabis-delivery service headquartered in San Francisco; and Bloom Farms, a maker of vape pens and other products, also based in San Francisco. In the Environmentally Responsible category, Wana is up against Flow Kana, a Northern California manufacturer; and Denver-based Sana Packaging, maker of sustainable packaging serving the cannabis industry.
