FAQs

General

I don’t live in the states Wana is sold in. Can you ship to me out of state or internationally?

Unfortunately, no. It is illegal to ship marijuana or marijuana-infused products across state lines or internationally. Additionally, we are a wholesaler; which means that our license only allows us to sell our products to licensed dispensaries, not individuals.

Can I travel with or bring my Wana products back to my home state/country?

No, at this time any products purchased in Colorado (or other states) must stay only in those states. In the United States, the Federal government classifies marijuana, even medical marijuana, as a Schedule I controlled substance, meaning transporting it across state lines or out of the country is federally illegal.

Wana products are available in my state, can you tell me which dispensaries sell your products?

To access a list of dispensaries that carry Wana products in your area, please utilize the BUY WANA feature on our website and call the locations closest to you to see what options they carry.

How can I get legal cannabis where I live?

Every state has different cannabis rules and you should check with state laws to determine if you can purchase legal cannabis in that state. If you live in a recreational state or plan on visiting one, you can legally purchase cannabis products through a dispensary if you are 21 years of age or older and have a valid Driver’s License or I.D. If you live in a medical state or plan on visiting one, you can legally purchase cannabis products through a medical dispensary if you have a valid medical marijuana card that was issued in that state. Check with the state laws to determine if you can use a medical marijuana card issued in your home state in another medical state. Please remember that due to federal law, you cannot travel with or bring your cannabis products across state lines or out of the country.

How can I get Wana to start manufacturing and selling products in my home state?

Edibles

I have never tried edibles before. What dosage should I start with?

We want you to have a great experience with edibles. In terms of dosage, start low and go slow. Additionally, edibles may take a while before you feel their effects. Start with 2.5mg to 5mg and wait at least 60 minutes before you gauge whether or not to consume any additional product. You may also want to avoid eating high-fat foods before trying an edible for the first time, as THC binds to fats and can intensify the experience. Make sure you are in a safe, comfortable environment if you are trying edibles for the first time. Enjoy responsibly!

How do I know how much THC is in your products?

Per state regulation, we send our recreational products to certified testing facilities to ensure proper dosage and homogeneity across batches of edibles. You can always rest assured that the dosages listed on our packaging are accurate. Remember to start low and go slow when it comes to edibles. Start with 5-10mg and wait at least 60 minutes before you gauge whether or not to consume any additional product.

I consumed your edibles and didn't feel high. What do I do?

Everyone’s experience with cannabis and edibles will be unique and variable upon diet, body composition, metabolism, age, and even mindset. The effects will also depend on frequency and history of use, as regular users develop a tolerance to THC. We recommend starting low and going slow when it comes to dosing. Start with 5-10mg and wait at least 60 minutes before you gauge whether or not to consume any additional product until you reach your desired effect.

For Wana Quick Fast-Acting products, such as our Quick Gummies, effects will kick in between 5-15 minutes, but can take up to 30 minutes after consuming a large meal.

What should I do if I take too much?

If you are having an uncomfortable experience after consuming an edible, which may include feeling disoriented, nauseated, or paranoid, we recommend drinking lots of water to help flush the THC out of your system and avoid fatty foods which further bind to THC. If you can, be with someone you trust or go to a place that is familiar and comforting and do something you enjoy like watching a favorite movie. Be patient, it will soon pass.

Vapes

What is the difference between vaping and smoking?

For smoking, cannabis begins to combust around 400 °F and can reach temperatures up to 2,000 °F, producing by-products such as tar and other harmful carcinogenic chemicals. These extreme temperatures can be irritating and even painful when inhaled. Vaporizing cannabis is the boiling of cannabinoids and terpenes into a gas, otherwise known as vapor. Cannabinoids and terpenes begin to vaporize around 250 °F without combusting or burning. Vaping raises the temperature just high enough to release cannabinoids, but not so high that it is harsh on your lungs.
